The new SEV and SE1 (pictured) sewage pumps are a further case in point. Prior to developing this award-winning design, Grundfos analysed the most common problem areas known from conventional pumps and solved them to develop the best pump around.

For example, a watertight cable entry point removes the risk of water entering the motor. A shorter rotor shaft reduces vibrations to bring you a sturdier, more reliable pump. A special shaft seal lasts longer than standard seals, increases performance, and can be replaced in seconds. And a unique heat transfer solution eliminates the need for cooling liquid, prevents overheating and allows for continuous operation even in dry installations. In short, the Grundfos SE sewage pumps are serious wastewater solutions.

The models Grundfos Alpha2 25-40, Grundfos Alpha2 25-50 and WILO Stratos 25/1-6 won the awards in the category pumps. In the category condensing boilers the Solvis Max Gas Pur 356-20 was awarded. In addition to the high level of energy efficiency the products elected by a jury of experts are user-friendly and easy to install.
