| Irish solar company in €30m NZ deal An Irish solar energy company has signed a $30 million distribution agreement in New Zealand. Surface Power, which develops and manufactures solar power products, will distribute its range of solar hot water, heating and cooling systems under a five-year deal. The company said today it would establish a national distribution and training academy in Tauranga, New Zealand, resulting in the creation of 12 new jobs over the next year.
