2009 Irish Construction Industry Overview - Out NOW!

The IRISH CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY OVERVIEW 2009 the most respected annual publication among construction professionals provides detailed analysis of all sectors and divisions of the industry – from commercial to residential, lending to land values and infrastructure to employment.

This year it will include a selection of articles based on economic activity over the last 12 months and where this will take us for the next 12. Its objective and independent status is an important feature of its compilation and positions it as the critical resource for the Construction sector for the year ahead.

In a time of such economic uncertainty, the focus of the Overview this year will be on insight. Supporting comment with statistical analysis, we will be producing a forward-focused business view of the next 12 months, with the focus on economic analysis of what’s ahead rather than first-person opinion of what has gone before.

This all encompassing publication will give readers a unique, independent flashpoint which will be relevant for decision-makers long into 2009. It provides in depth analysis of all the main building sectors from Health and Education, Property, Transport and Housing, right through to general contracting, Sustainable Building and Land Prices. There is also a strong emphasis on demand and supply projections, public sector spend provisions and cost and price trends.

Among the many contributors to this year's publication is the Department of Education, Department of Transport, ESRI, CB Richard Ellis, Davis Langdon PKS, BRE, Irish Planning Institute, Bruce Shaw Partnership, Ulster Bank and Minister John Gormley.
